I have had a good experience with CRST so far. It is a training company, bit it is what you make it. I went through their training in riverside, ca and been out on the road for a couple of months. I've actually had no problems so far. We have a good dispatcher who is running us 5000-6000 every week. This is my experience at my 3rd month with them.

Double check your pay stubs. They weren't taking taxes out on mine so I had to pay in at the end of the year when I filed. They will screw you every chance they get.

I did a lot of research before I went with CRST and I read all the negatives, but I needed to get experience and a company with paid training and only an 8 month contract. To anyone new, I encourage you to take what you read with a grain of salt on the Internet and forums. Crst is not perfect, but in my 3 months of experience with them, it is not like what you may see people complaining on these forums. A lot has to do with people taking responsibility for their stuff and being organized. You also need to work and be smart how you manage your hours and truck. I'm not saying some of the complaints are not legitimate, but I do caution to not believe everything you read.

And lastly, when it comes to the comment about CRST trying to screw people anyway they can. I have found them to go out of their way to help when I had an issue that needed resolving. So far I don't find that to be true regarding crst. Like I said, I've only been here 3 months. So far though it has been good and I have never felt like they were trying to screw me. My pay has always been accurate and I have always received any reimbursements on time, every time.

Ok figure they have that many students every week in every one of their facilities. They don't have that many trucks bud. They losing that many drivers a week is how they can do that. Plus they get a kickback for pitting students through their "school".
