Well macro 27 gives you the cheapest fuel stop, has anyone noticed it gives you a messed up route from time to time? Yesterday the thing wanted me to drop down 100 miles south and then come back up 60 miles and take a confusing route...that being said I'm still getting used to using it, but I usually use macro 19 for my main route

How much fuel did you have when it did that?

If you have too little... The system will route you to the "closest" fuel stop within the network. Always try and use it when you're at 1/2 or more. If you do 1/4 or less you're in for some crazy routing.

Are you prime? Everybody has 27. Even o/o gets access to our fuel network.

As a lo i have options to use that or go directly to the website and chose where i want to get fuel. I use the 27 as a guide and sometimes look at the area fuel stations in the area and i chose the best option.

I use 27 to tell me how many gallons, etc, for ifta purposes. Then I go to the website to choose where to fuel to get my points based on cost.

It will sometimes send you to a more expensive stop... if the companies quotas with the truck stops hasn't been met. It's also set up to keep the company guys out of trouble... not give a lease or owner op the cheapest fuel.

I always use the webpage to find the cheapest in-route stops... and plan my purchases before ever heading out on a new trip. Update enroute as necessary.

Official policy. FMs will tell company driver's something different about it, depending on which FM we're talking about. If you're a company driver, have a wreck due to being off-fuel route- like topping a trailer on a low clearance bridge, you're probably not going to be a driver for anyone once they get through with your DAC.
