Hope you'll had a safe and happy 4th. Here's my question. what all is put on the DAc reports? My husnband went to work for USA (already has his cdl with tanker) the milion mile guy he was with just kept running to get all his miles in. At one point he even told my husband that he got paid even if he just sat in the seat. I do believe it all went down hill when he told the guy he stunk and needed to take a shower. lmao. Anyhow he was up for numerous days told dispatch he wasn't ready to take the test but they made him do it anyway. He rubbed a curb and backed in crooked and the tester said that they needed to part ways. Now the dac report says" failed driving test and no re-hire" So how do you dispute it? My husnband says we need to get a lawyer. He believes that this is the reason why he isn't getting any jobs. Any input guys?

Not sure how you dispute what you say really happened. He failed the companies driving test, not eligible for rehire. All he can do is keep on looking at starter companies.

Ditto. Keep looking if he has a CDL he will find a job.

I'm sorry to say that your husband did fail the company road test. You can dispute it, but its the truth so they don't have to take it off the DAC report. You might get lucky and they might not respond to the dispute and then it will come off his DAC. If they do respond to the dispute then it will show on his DAC that he disputed the claim and that it was confirmed by Hire Right.
Meanwhile, move on and look for another starter company, and tell your husband to keep his opinions to his self until he gets at least a years experience under his belt. He can always come here to vent if he needs to.
Good Luck! -
My opinion; if your hubby did all that during a drivers test ( even if its for a CDL-A state exam ) it is a failure
options; you can call or log onto Dacfix.com and maybe they can help ? its about $120.00 ( possibly less than a lawyer in your town ) good luck !valbob Thanks this. -
Just wanted a little input. The driving test guy said he should have never been put in a team driver position. Furthermore. he did tell them he wasn't ready, his first trainer he was with a week said he got the shaft deal but we're wondering if that's the reason why he isn't getting other job offers. Any more input?

make sure ( whoever you decide to file with ) that you tell them only what the driving test guy said because obviously they blew off his opinion and that could be a giant feather in your cap and a lawyer will agree too. good luck and post any result
