Me personally i would recommend you to jump on the family dollar, get ready for some physical work, you have to unload the trailer and you won't really get the miles that's why they pay you for every stop, every trailer you unload, high cent per mile so you can make a little bit of money you will be making 800$ a week but the thing is are you ready for the hassle backing, most of the time you will have to stop traffic to do your set up and back it in where you gotta be careful with customer's car and all that and it's not much fun i have seen drivers having a hard time making their deliveries at family dollar because the space they have for you to back is suck only you can get it done easier with a 26 fts truck,,, Good luck with tight backing driver lol.

Do you know if they allow parking overnight @ stores?

I've seen DG dc have a few lots for otr

However family dollar never has it been allowed

This is maybe on half a dozen trips in no specific region.

    Considered pulling reefers?

I do DG for Werner. Stores almost all let you stay overnight in their lot, and if not it is usually a shopping center policy or some nonsense, not DG. Lot's of HOT, hard, physical labor for low pay, while unloading, but Werner spreads the miles around so you don't get screwed. Some store managers are jerks, some are angels. Humans, I think that's called. DG chisels all the time though, to put more and more work on the truck driver, for no more money, and Werner doesn't seem to know how to say no to them. It's getting to be a real problem.
