You can try to ask for a room by yourself. Willing to bet the answer is going to be no. If you can't handle a room with a stranger, how are you going to handle being in a truck with a stranger?
-
You can, but it's an extra charge. Hotel is most likely going to be an Econolodge or Laquinta Inn.

I m not sure about where they put you in Atlanta, but if you wanted to get your own room for Orientation, you would get the room for the same rate that Schneider gets for it.
-
Or you just get lucky like I did and your assigned roommate doesn't even show up for the orientation, then you have your own room for free LOL
-
I believe they use the Sleep Inn in Stockbridge off of exit 1 on I-675, unless they have changed it since I left in February.

Your hotel will be least of your worries, lol when ya go greyhound plan on a 3 hour trip possibly lasting 12 hours, then be sure and ask for more On the road training if your not ready, dont let your trainer say ya, you are done, if your not confident, cuz it happens. They don't like to pay them trainers what they should (make sure u are ready), other trucking companys offer at least 4 to 5 weeks OTR training. Right now Schneider is slippin by with 3 to 5 days for some reason.

My roommate showed up, but this dummy tried to pull a fast one on Schneider by not putting an accident on his application. The worst part about it is that he failed the driving test lol! He had a rear-end hit accident in the rain and hurt two people while driving for U. S Express. So needless to say, I was awarded a while room to myself since I was only there 2.5 days.
