I understand that there is construction and the 912S to 80/94W ramp is closed. Has anyone been through there lately? I need to stop tomorrow. Is there a reasonable detour?

So you need to go to Gary yard, but your concern is getting back onto 80/94?? Where will you be heading out of the yard? If you are gonna be headed East, take the turnpike, if you are going West, take 20W passing under 912 over to Indianapolis Blvd (IN-152) S back to 80/94.

But Sewerman probably knows a better route...

When you gonna be there? I will probably be swinging by there tomorrow too either before or after my reload at the Tin Mill- IF- that in fact is where I reload, which I am pretty sure I will.... Truck 13261, say HI if you see me.

Definitely heading west. That's probably the route I would have taken. I didn't look at my paper map yet to confirm truck routes but I'm guessing it will be fine.
I should be around there by 4 or 5pm. I'll keep an eye out. -
The posted detour is to go east on 80/94 and turn around at exit 6 which is Burr St. Don't do this. Its a mess trying to cross the road to get back on.
The 20W detour is the better option.jxu417 Thanks this. -
Yeah, we know how sewerman drives. Driving through people's back yards doesn't make it a "better" route, even if it is faster...
plentygood Thanks this. -
Reckon if that's how he keeps his out of route so low???
Juuuust kidding Sewer man. -
He doesn't drive through them silly man. He levitates over them . . He's a Jedi, Sewerman Kanobe

FYI Indianapolis Blvd is closed as well. I had to go all the way to Calumet Ave to head south. Ugly.
