I made good money and didn't have any payments. I guess what I was saying is I don't know how u make money if u move from somewhere and have to pay the big rent cost that is out there and deal with the grocery thing. Again I did make good money just got burned out and tired of the B.S. Oh ya and I own my own truck Have ya seen a nd road? Tired of beating my truck up. You can't drive slow enough.

 

Hauling sand is a good start, but the jobs that are more specialized will always pay more. In the oil field, crude pays the most, then water, then sand. Add experience to any of these jobs and the pay will be more. If you have hauled sand you should be able to get into water or oil. Oil is not for everyone. I have a friend who would never haul hazmat tanks, for any amount of money. He is scared of it. At MBI in Ross, ND our sand guys made 50-80k, water 70-100k and oil 80-140k+ DOE. Remember, everything in the oil filed is negotiable!

 

You can make alot of money some months, not as much other months. I dont think anyone is making $100,000. a yr driving someone else truck. If you worked 52 weeks a yr you could but thats not very likely. All being said you will make more here than anywhere else I have found, but its hard on you and your family. Most of my drivers make a good lick to catch on bills at home and then go back home and work local for less money and more home time.

 

Really? Do you remember this post from you...does anyone work for powerfuels? can anyone tell me if they use hair or urine in their drug testings?...sounds like your still trying to slide by to me.

 

yep, their all going to hair follicle test per government mandate. They get audited 63% less if they agree. So, you better shave - wait n90 days, then shave again... then submit your applications....See you Nov 1st

 

Im bettin that for anyone who has to ask those questions....that waitin 90 days for a reshave might be a never ending cycle?

 

That's not going to work either. I know a girl who travels all over the country doing drug tests. If it looks like your hair is too short they will take your body hair. If that has been shaved they will take a piece of your finger/toe nail. And that I understand hurts like hell.

One way or another they will go back 3 months to check for drug use.
