Yep. His words. I about fell outta my chair. I was idling when we were on the phone. Permission or not, not baking in this truck.

FM "Permission" = Offset on PFP Metrics?

    (i.e. Carryover MPG/Idle% until it's fixed.)

    I'd ask

They didn't offset my MPG when mine broke down. I didn't ask permission though... I'm not terribly picky when it comes to what I am provided to do my job, as long as I can do it effectively... but A/C in summer is a requirement, and there ain't no one that's gonna tell me not to idle with a broken APU LOL.

Be prepared though... these trucks, after idling all night, will get a clogged DPF. If you get ready to go in the morning and the DPF light is flashing, MAKE SURE YOU DO A REGEN. If you don't, that truck WILL shut down within a couple minutes, most likely just after you merge onto the interstate. And you won't get a warning, the engine will just instantly shut down, without even enough time to get off the highway.

Oh man. This really sucks. I also just got my preload to Ohio and guess what? Not routing me through a yard. I think I can take a small detour and make it to the Madison yard but I don't know if they can take care of it in 10 hours.
