Hey I'm curious how much do Mbm drivers make in California?? I heard Ontario is pieces/miles/weight and rancho cucamonga is hourly. Can anyone please give an exact amount?? I drive for FedEx and we are about $25 an hour but no overtime. No place to make more money. Benefits getting worse every year. Lol and would the new HOS prevent Mbm local drivers from making good money?? Looking for gross and take home information please. Seems Mbm drivers don't want to say exactly
Mbm foodservice

Dude I work for mclanes and made this same money everybody on here making believe that's so great when u are never home to spend and driving all them miles for 65000 a yr that's nothing I been with merchants for two years and make 60000 and I work out of a shuttle yard with a 28 footer, I start a 530 done by 230 m-f weekends off and paid weekly, the guys out of the warehouse pull 48 footers with a 1000-1200 case do the math home everyday and I only run 600 -800 cs..somebody told u wrong about merchants for real

where are you from merchants is a family owned company they treat you well. I guess I am speaking for the Jackson ms, but I work out of a shuttle yard 2 hrs away, Merchants has little to no turnover that might tell you a little something...Ask your self how many of these companies that being name on here other than Sysco maybe have 40 percent of their driver been there 20+ yrs.. Our shuttle driver for our yard been with them 32 yrs and one of our delivery drivers out of our yard been there 26yrs...There are a lot of 20 yr guys at merchants when have our driver meetings, but this is out of Jackson ms cant speak for the other terminals and Sysco and us foods and other foodservice are all in the same area. and we share the yard with Sysco driver

I'm glad you are happy with Merchants. I used to work for Mclane Foodservice in Forest Park(Atlanta) Georgia. The pay was way more than 65,000. I don't know about Mclane Grocery in Mississippi, but we only had a 4 day work week. I now drive for MBM and we are owened by Mclane. I make way more than 60,000 a year and I am off 3 days a week. The closest Merchants to me is in Clanton Alabama, and those guys work way harder for way less money.

Does anyone know if MBM will hire recent grads with no experience??
-
No. 1 year minimum. Definitely need experience backing into small spaces and city driving
-
I'm still waiting for someone to answer my question on how much they make and schedule and hours and crap. Nobody seems to answer crap on here. Just vague details
-
I don't work for mbm. But I do know they get paid by the case, mile, stop.. etc. Too hard to figure out how much you made for that week.. most drivers don't even know! But basically . the more cases you have, the more you make. I do know working 5 days at full pay, you will most likely be making 1200-1300$ a week, somewhere in that ball park. And working 6 days drivers are grossing atleast 1500-1600$ a week. You start out at 85% pay for the first month I believe. Then goes up to 90 for the first 6 months. Then 95% until you make you're year. Then after that it's full pay.

JRut I have known drivers to get on at the MBM here in Rocky Mount NC without experience just wondering if they had stopped because the website says what you said
Chinatown Thanks this. -
Really. Well who knows then, no telling who they will hire if they need drivers bad enough.
