    NEVER, NEVER swerve or hit the brakes when vehicles ahead start sliding out of control on icy roads. Hold the steering wheel tight and ease off the gas. If you are lucky, the vehicles will slide off the road; out of your way. If not, it is always better to get tangled in the middle, then get hit head-on.
    I have been lucky several times by using this maneuver.

    Often times pregnant women say that they don't like wearing seat belts. I hope all pregnant women remember this horrible accident and buckle up.
