Next it does not matter where you are dispatch from. Lets say that you go ot orientation at Springfield. Your trainer lives in Georgia but his FM is from Salt Lake City terminal. You are on a company trainer truck when you up grade there is a 80% chance you will stay on that board out of SLC

Neat I mean atleast I can enjoy the scenery while doing 58 to 62 mph.
    Why so low the speed?

Fuel economy is the name of the game. The lower speed, the lower the rpms, the more fuel saved.

That's very true awbro. And less accidents with their drivers and their equipment.

Tell that to the driver whose trailer had GRASS on the top of it that I passed on I-44 this afternoon. It has much more to do with fuel economy than accident prevention. After being on hubby's truck for a month, the biggest problems I saw on the road........were 4-wheelers. I knew this going in, of course, but it was certainly eye-opening, and I dang sure wished for a bottle of liquid courage more than once. (I hate Atlanta. 'Nuff said.)

LOL, yeah right. Every one is in such a hurry. Primes load delivery times are normally calculated at 50mph, So why go faster than 55MPH. Besides the speed limit is MAXIMUM speed, some states do have a minimum speed but it is normally 40mph, but a few it is 55mph, Michigan comes to mind, I believe.

Then people in 4 wheeler's shouldn't be speeding so hasten to get to whatever their going to. Cant help it if my truck is governed at a set speed. Rather be alive than dead amongst the charred remains of the tractor trailer!!

Not fully the truth my 2014 ultralight Casscadia will do 62 on the peddle and cruise, plus my truck will idle as long as I want it to not that I really let it idle very long anyway.
