I certainly will....I hate to see this happen to him, he is a good friend...and one of a kind.Last edited: Jul 11, 2013
JimTheHut Thanks this. -
I do not have any updates. Sarge told me yesterday that he was on his way to pick up his truck when it happened. He said he had flatlinend and they had to zap him two or three times before he got in the ambulance and a couple more before they pulled away.
He is in Critical condition and I belive he is on life support. There was a lot of damage to his heart and they were even talking about the need for a transplant.
They were planning to eventually bring him out of his coma and see how it goes.
I will update as I find out or sarge may even update.
I am in New Jersey getting ready to go into the bronx in the morning. I will be driving so I will not be able to check anything until I get out of there.
Keep the prayers going up!
Thanks!hesgoneagain and jxu417 Thank this. -

Pfp. Prayer for pollock abbreviated. No updates from his wife today but as of last night when I called, they had reduced his coma inducing meds and tried to get him to squeeze my finger, wiggle your toes thing but hadto put him back in coma, "when he got too active" her words.
JimTheHut and Ridgerunner665 Thank this. -
Sitting in the Bronx since 0415 for 0700 appointment....next adventure.....how to get out of here...lol

pfp. Update with correction on pollock. 0600 today he went into surgery to install temporary heart pump which is good for 2 weeks to one month. Then bring him out of coma. Once awake, consciousand able to decide for himself, he can get a permanant heart pump that'd be good for 2 years or more. He does have internal bleeding somewhere. Pushed 8 pints in yesterday. They are not sure where but have ruled out lungs and stomach as to where he's bleeding.
Biggest risk now is due to alll the meds and blood thinners he's on since admitted is bleeding out during the surgery. Expected to take until sometime this afternoon to complete the surgery....pfp -
Student just informed me that his wife misses him too much and he is quitting! :smt068
