    I am having fun working the original 13 colonies special event stations !!!! Also the Gettysburg special events stations !! It has been awhile since I have taken time to play radio !!

    well I made a clean sweep got all 13 colonies and had a blast working them all ! I forgot how much I enjoy ham radio . It sure beats the hate and discontent on the CB anymore !

    Yes, the 13 colonies was a blast. Thanks to all out there who called. I was one of the special event stations in Delaware. I could not believe all the stations calling in the pile ups but it was fun pulling everyone out. Used 100 watts here and a wire antenna (G5RV). Left the amplifier alone. Think we had around 4000 contacts. A lot of them were mobiles that were on the road. It was really cool.
