solo get ether Volvo 660 or Columbia . years are from 2003 to present
teams and mentors get Volvo 670 years 2004 to present. they keep them up pretty well every 30k miles they get a b'service. If you have a problem with a truck if the shop cant fix it or its under warranty it goes to respective dealer to get worked on. But not all shops are good the Denver shop bunch of idiots.
Lewiston have good mechanics, salt lake city its a hit or miss. phoenix they do good work and done relatively fast they are open 24/7 356 same as Kansas city open 24/7 Memphis also 24/7 but hit or miss there too just depends on mechanic the best shop to go to on East is Martinsburg, Wv top notch guys
Phoenix is the best west -
Volvos and Freightliners. Volvos are comfortable but seem to have alot of electrical problems. Freightliners ride like crap but are pretty reliable. I did see a new International that was a company truck but havent seen any more.

when is started i got a POS 04 volvo with 300,000 miles. after 2 months of hard running they set me up in a 08 freightliner with 134 miles on it. as for riders i think i was 60 bucks a week plus the rider must be over 13. don't quote me on that though. best of luck to your dad. i hope it works out better for him then it did for me.

$60 a week for riders!?!?! That seems outragous!
