Nah, I see you more as driving the short bus than teaching anyone anything.

First of all I will restate what I already have posted... I have nothing against company drivers as someone has to do it. Its good that you now state no one should have to run EOBRs. I can and do comprehend what I read on here. I guarentee I am safer than you are behind the wheel of the big truck. Glad you learned something today just too bad it was the wrong stuff. My kind is why you are here so I guess I should say you are welcome.

    Happy Trails... :biggrin_25520:

and no one should have to run on paper if they would prefer the alternative. See? You CANNOT comprehend what you read, you ONLY SEE WHAT YO WANT TO SEE! Thank you for proving my point. Get some rest there fella. I know you must be winded. Thank you for all that you have done for the industry. Where would this world be without you...

    Earth to VD,

To answer the 6-yr question, it was really only one company. I worked as a company driver, then leased to them when they reorganized and started running the west coast.

Good luck with the new career as your own boss and it's easy to see how your sideline biz can be counted on to put food on your table.

Gotta go, but I know you'll have something witty and enlightening to affirm the OO "step above-ness."

    Later.

    PS,
Until you figure out how to use spell/grammar check, I'd hold off on the teacher bit.

I am lookin forward to it! You willing to do something helpful, huh? Now THAT, is appreciated. Oh but wait, someone like myself, a newer driver- and evidently fellow flatbedder- who busts his butt each and every day, and is always looking to learn more such as I, well, I couldn't depend on YOU, because you don't believe someone such as I is "worth the time." AH, now I get it!Seems I was right about you all along.

Grab a load out here and I will buy ya a cup of joe. We can go over some P&L statements and maybe you could learn a thing or two. I don't need to use spell/grammar check there bud but since you are being picky. What's "Gotta? go, but I know you'll have something witty and enlightening to affirm? the oo blah blah blah. Not a proper sentence their bud so how's that grammar check working for you? LOL

    jxu417 Thanks this.

How is going over Profit and Loss statements going to teach me anything? I have been doing those for over 15 years. Anything specific to the Transportation Industry- or perhaps flatbed information? I can always learn more about those.

    volvodriver01 Thanks this.

Guys that truly want to learn show signs of wanting to do so. All you have done so far is something about good EOBRs will do and blah. I am not going to go back and read the stuff again. I help fellow flatbedders every single day as they come in not knowing how to chain or where to place the coil. I have yet to have to help a fellow owner op with those same problems. Just sayin.

If you haul out of AK in Middletown you used to see one of my guys more than likely... He was pulling for Besl Transfer driving a 94 shaker flattop pulling a wagon. Run in and out of there twice a day back over here to Cville.
