On a side note, I love how if we prefer a method of hours recording over someone else's method, we are labeled as outlaws, cheaters, and super truckers.
Then when we say we run level either way and get the response "then why not use an eobr?"
I simply say this, it's about PREFERENCE.
Why does one person choose McDonald's over Wendy's? Preference
Why does one person choose a camaro over a mustang? Preference
Manual vs automatic? Preference
See both systems work just fine, it's what people prefer that changes. Go ahead and call me names, sentences, or even paragraphs. Lol. I don't care, I'm on elogs, I prefer paper. I used to be pro elog, then I realized things are just simpler with paper. Not for cheating but for hours tracking in general for my preference of what I like to do with my paperwork as far as filing and record keeping. Plus if I didn't have elogs then I would have three 12v outlets in my cab instead of 2. Thanks Obama. Lol
***That last part was from a YouTube video I watched, I'm definitely not trying to bring up politics. It's just a funny video***

Was it dark maroon? Sounds familiar...

My EOBR, (When I'm forced to get one.), will mysteriously be broken all the time, so, being the good, responsible driver that I am, I'll keep paper logs till my EOBR is fixed. (Win, Wink)
snowman_w900 and DrtyDiesel Thank this. -
Well at one time it was like a faded maroon with the fiberglass on the hood looking crappy. Then I put a new hood on and painted the truck black and then put a lightning bolt on the side of the good. Its the truck in my profile pic.jxu417 said: ↑Was it dark maroon? Sounds familiar...Click to expand...jxu417 Thanks this.

You really come off as a fellow that doesn't really know anything about this industry. Come on out of your bubble wrap and see what really goes on out here.Click to expand... -

Nonetheless you seem to have trouble with straightforward questions: What carrier? (I'll admit, I think you're making up the EOBR shutdown part and that the reason the truck was towed from the dock to the truck stop shop was because it broke. )Ronin_on_MT said: ↑Well for one I used to work at the plant there genius. Ronin_on_MT said: ↑HaHa you must really like me man. Yeah I worked at that plant twice for a total of about 8 months. Just not for me. I am currently an owner operator that owns 3 trucks with my authority. I also bought and now run a port-a-pot company. I do understand one thing for sure that you have proven over and over again. You are best off being a company driver as you obviously do not have what it takes to be a business owner. I will give you a company name Thursday when my part-time guy comes in to service the johns at the two local mills.volvodriver01 said: ↑Impressive resume. Unlike you I speak facts, I do not talk out of my rear like yourself. If you seriously do not believe a truck can be programmed to shut off after running out of hours then you my friend are lacking in common sense. I truly feel ashamed that you are a fellow driver.Click to expand... -
Still no carrier identified, so it's pretty clear you ARE making this stuff up. (You did write that your source works for you, so how hard can this be?)volvodriver01 said: ↑Blah blah blahClick to expand...
Maybe it's time to stop drinking that swill from your part-time gig. (It may freshen your breath, but I gotta ask, does it turn your pee blue?) -
Wow just realized this dude just joined the forum. Not worth wasting my time replying to an incompetent ###. If he would have read my last post I stated I would let him know Thursday as I do back up my posts with facts. Ronin it must suck being a pee - on in your employment but don't hate on the guys that go out and earn the respect they deserve. Have a good one.
