    They took the fuel gauges out of our trucks on purpose! Want us to look in the tank. I did that anyway but geez.

    This is nothing new. Freight trucks have always been very stripped down trucks. The old timers say that the only thing you need is a speedometer and temp gauge. Truck is supposed to be fueled before you leave terminal so as long as you look in the fuel tank to verify before you leave you will be fine. Save all the bells and whistles for the shiny wheelers that get paid .29 cpm

    Not the con-way freight shakers they got XM radios LOL.

    our trucks are supposed to be fueled but 90% of the time the switcher won't bring it in or the mechanic won't refuel it. We don't have comdata cards either...

    Detroit filed for bankruptcy today. I just drove through there yesterday and it looked like they should've filed years ago!! What a waste of Detroit Rock City.

    As some of you know I live in Michigan but I live 500 miles north of Detroit. We tried a few years ago to break away from downstate Michigan and form our own state but unfortunately it didn't happen. Now the bums from downstate will drag us down with them.
