That sounds like a good gig.

Young guy. Owner/Operator Works his tail off. For the most part he puts in long hours. Steady work.
-
Good day.
Have an potential offer as cement operator from the following locations, which one I should pick? Thanks so much for any input.
Lac La Biche, AB. Slave lake, AB. Edmonton, AB. Lloydminster, AB.
Swift Current, SK. Fort st. John, BC.
I will go to the picked location alone, with no more money carried, rather than a class 1 licence. So want to choose a location best suit my situation. In case getting there, but the potential offer does not pan out. -
If all factors are the same. Pay, shift, accommodations etc. Look at how busy the regions are as well as distance from your home base. That will be deciding factor for you.
-
Thanks. Edmonton and LIoydminster seem having more job posts in kijiji. Thanks belowspeedlimit once more.
-
Not so much looking for drivers but is the industry in the area steady. Someplaces do slowdown. Someplaces are steady year round. Take that into consideration. Best of luck.
-
Appreciated. Ford st. John, BC is the last choice. AB is well known for the industry, and SK is hot now, so swift current may be a good fit. It seems that the further north, the more job available. All these, just my guess work.
-
Well I am around the Edmonton area and I do not have work yet.
-
Northern bc is also booming.....
