We had ''hot'' hookers in the rest areas along the broken road..And yes they were mighty fine...Today i hate to say this...There are more Gay Men cruising truck stops than woman..The woman got kicked out from the Gay Men and all the drivers who keep them busy.....

 

Wow, I had no idea that's what new drivers wanted. Glad I'm not one of them!

 

It amazes me what a driver today will ''put up with'' for 500.00 bucks..And here they blame Mexicans..Not the case.Americans do the cheap labor everyday too..

 

500.00$ a week sure does beat 0$ a week and not being able to get a job anywhere else though.

 

Once you get out here you will change that tune....Trust that...

Not really. landstar8891 paints pretty grim picture but there is a lot of truth in what he says. Why do you think there is always a shortage of drivers? And DOT keeps trying to make it worse all the time.

Eventually DOT will force everything into intermodal which they are doing already. If you don't believe me take a look at the next freight train you see. Most long hauls are going intermodal now. DOT wants all drivers home every night. They want intermodal to make all loads 200 miles or less so you haul two loads a day and go home.
