Question about truck stop showers?!?!

most of the current generation lives on fast food and they dont stop to think about the harms, you will be surprised how many handle your food without proper hygeine, when I was an Executive chef I was very strict about food safety, I have seen some nasty things out there, I give my wife a hard time to this day who thinks its fine to leave dinner out and put it away at midnight for the next day. I piss her off sometimes and just throw it out.

 

I always used my own towel and wore my rubber flip flops. I rarely went without a shower though, even if I had to pay.

 

im going without one today but because im stuck at a rest area waiting for a load to get out, lucky I took a shower yesterday morning before I left the Loves to bobtail out and get an abandoned trailer I was asked to go get. At least its nice and cool here so not sweating and stuff.

 

cant be worst then being in afganistan or iraq!! so i dont think ill have a issue with that!!buy babywipes will do it some time !!! do u guys once in a while ,go a hotel, while u on ur trip?

 

you can get a hotel if you want to pay the money, I stayed in a hotel for 2 nights total and thats when my truck was in the shop and the company paid for the nights.

 

Open a truck stop door. Lot Lizzards do. Post Man does, Rotfl, Just wash your mitts.

 

I used the provided towels and washcloths the first 2 nights on the road....didnt even think about it.....then my trainer who is a bit of a neat freak started in on me telling me to imagine where those towels have been and proceeds to go into graphic detail about it......next day we had a delivery at a walmart, and now I am the proud owner of 2 sets of matching towels and washcloths, i now use the provided ones to throw on the floor.

 

I like most of the Petro's better. Though we have to pay for them. Company only fuels at Pilots and J's.

 

yeah same here, petros usually have more showers so less of a wait, loves tends to be the worst depending on the time of day you try to get one.
