TA East in Ontario. Got stuck in a parkinglot traffic jam on the 60. Overturned flatbed, with a 389... absolutely smashed flat. The driver didn't make it. Missed my appointment at the receiver, but I found out that sales dropped the ball, and the appointment was a "pretend" appointment. The 90 closes at 1300 (appt was 1400) and they didn't even know I was coming. Got to verify these things from now on. Reset for 0700 in the AM.

Prime is not the only company whose sales department has that problem. Just sayin'. It is terribly annoying. And pretty much puts that shipper on the "do not choose this load" list. Besides, that was one HEAVY load. (Yep, I was on board for that little love muffin. Did I mention I was on the truck for a month?)

Usually don't have that particular problem. By the time I got the traffic and appointment sorted out, I was only about 10 miles from Ontario. So it all worked out better than it could have.

    Walmart runs are easy.

Hit your stops on time, they have 45 minutes to unload you.

Stand on the dock and take the stickers from each pallet that belongs to them, and affix to the appropriate place on your paperwork.

Complete your runs by your wave's complete time, which ought to be 11pm or 6am.

Return to Walmart dc, drop trailer, shower, sleep.

    Rinse, repeat.
