Westfield mass (lowes) and bloomfield ct (home depot) are now pin tarping the trailers for us. The ct loads are half (#**3&) secured also. Of course the driver (me) has to make sure of securement and bungie the tarp up REALLY good. I have had a ballon follow me and no matter how many straps or bungies i use it wont go away. But hell no and i climbing up on their stack of ladders, pvc pipe and all the other assorted crap to roll a tarp out.

Home depot DC's do put the tarp on the load for you. Most loads only need the front tarped. They have this contraption on a forklift that drags the tarp up over the front. If a little breezy, the tarp gets 5th wheel grease all over it. And if the tarp snags up, most of the time they just keep pulling and rip the heck out of you tarp. TMC spends a lot more on tarp repairs after the started going to lowes and home depot dc's.

The Menards owner/operator delivery service program is great! It is allowing me to own my own business and be home everynight with my family all the while driving truck which love to do. This is a business opportunity and not a job and Menards does a LOT of things behind the sceens that help me be sucessful. Anyone wanting to run their own truck and be home every night, this is the opportunity for you!

Based on some behind-the-scenes info, I personally believe there is a possibility that this user is Scott Siewert, Director of Store Operations at Menards. I personally believe there is a possibility that Scott Siewert, Director of Store Operations at Menards, is impersonating a truck driver on TruckersReport because their alleged mistreatment of owner operators is becoming widely known and in my personal opinion they might be having trouble finding replacements for all the owner operators that allegedly quit.

A lowes delivery driver has to unload washers, dryers, etc and install them, and then you will almost NEVER, EVER see 40 hours a week. Usually 25 to 30 hours a week most of the time. Sounds like a total waste of time, unless you are retired and looking for a part time job I suppose.
