It's looking that way dink Wrapping up orientation today. Then it's six weeks out with a trainer. Everything you guys said about EPES turned out to be true (not that I was doubting you). This seems to be a great outfit I'm signing on with.

welcome aboard! Rule 1.....murder your trainer!(j/k) Who do you have for DM? Who IS gonna be your trainer? Since you're not far from the Chester yard(I'm assuming) you'll probably be under one of those 2 guys at Chester.....you'll LOVE the hometime....just be ready AND willing for 95!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks so much guys for the kind words. Just got back to Chesterfield (I'm living about 20 minutes from the Chester yard) about an hour ago, What a great experience. Everyone in Greensboro was so friendly, not just the EPES crew, but everyone I met at restaurants, stores, etc. What a friendly town. :dink:, my DM is Russell Taylor, also out of the Chester terminal. As for the hometime it's definitely the icing on a very rich cake. I've got a 9 month old daughter at home and a wife that doesn't seem to mind (too much) when I'm around. At the end of it all I feel very lucky being allowed to come onboard and join you guys. It was this forum and all the information you fellas offered up so generously that convinced me to put so much of my energy into approaching EPES. Most if not all of my eggs were put into the EPES basket almost from the beginning. Anyway, thanks again for everything. Just wanted you guys to know what a positive difference you're making on here. Whether you realize it or not. Keep safe out there, hopefully I'll get to meet you all soon.

I just caught myself wondering what rule #2 is? Must have to do with properly hiding a body. And sdaniel, I thought you'd already taken over and were just here on vacation (or recruiting)!

Nope still have to work! But try hard to change the image Joe Public has of us drivers. Picked up a new trainee yesterday afternoon. Cool guy, going to be a very good driver by time I'm done. Ex cop. Just waiting to show how , Highway patrol using a laptop while driving looks like! Wait for it ... Wait for it... SKRRREEEEEEEEEEKK!

That's a rare opportunity you have there. Enjoy it! From what I've read he's lucky to have you training him. I'm sure he'll do well.
