New to Prime INC - What to expect (Springfield edition)

Is getting your permit from home easier and quicker than thru with prime?

 

It's through the Missouri driver license office in Springfield. Do get your permit before you come to PSD... it puts you a step ahead in getting everything else done, and takes about a ton of stress off.

 

Next question : how do u apply for your cdl permit? I live in north Carolina and was wondering how you go about it. Any info will help me ..

 

Call your local drivers license office, and make sure.

Most states, all you need is your license, you may need proof of current address, and enough studying of your state's CDL license manual to pass the general, combination vehicle, and airbrake tests.

I think. It's been awhile, and the miles tend to jar unpleasant memories from the ol' noggin!

If N.C. is anything like Iowa, you'll need to take those 3 tests. I ran into a bit of a snag today, because they wanted to see my medical card. I was under the impression that would be taken care of at orientation. Should I have gone out and gotten one?

I get my nedical card from nc dmv does that mean I do not have to re do the medical exam at prime???

 

Yes, you will redo the medical exam at Prime.

 

I think that is also true for any company you go to.
