Mbm foodservice

hey why u dont apply in another company mbm has really bad reputation turnover is really high in there always hiring and craiglist i have one friend he works in rancho cucamonga they make el pollo loco dennys and popeyes chicken all heavys items is all about seniority he has 10 years in there he dont say is great company he say is okey but is alot work if u are new xtra board no personal life no set schedule ON CALL in those guys they dont care about DOT going with gsf golden state foods or QCD STARBUCKS u make just 5 stops all drop pallets no breakdown all those crappys companys food service is big scam food service .

 

MBM SUCKS TURNOVER IS REALLY HIGH AND XTRA BOARD IS NO JOKE BETTER GSF GOLDEN STATE FOODS BETTER REPUTATION. GREAT COMPANY TO WORK .

 

Truckerocrazy all companies have bad rep. I been at FedEx almost 10years and I don't say its a great company. Every year it gets worse. Less hours,worse benefits lol. So how much money your friend make at rancho??? Cause for mW. Money talks

 

Yea i do hear that MBM has high turn over, I'm just looking for another company particularly in food service, I just got my 1 year experience, so just looking for something that's much better paying..... Is it hard to get into GSF???? I hear they are good, but don't know if my 1 year experience will be enough..... Clean record btw, or even QCD .... Thanks guus

 

Yeah its hard. They are union and don't hire as much....BTW gsf works days. You want to be at McDonalds delivering in afternoon and trying to find a spot to park a 48ft trailer?? Lol

 

Any foodservice has high turnover cause a experience driver who hasn't unloaded before realizes its harder then bumping docks and quits. ALL extra board sucks, Any LTL linehaul is no different, no schedule, no life. Just how it is til you put your time in to weed people out.

 

What do you guys mean by "high turnover" ?

 

People are hired, people leave. Often.

I am about to start for MBM on the 5th of August. My wife is pregnant and we are moving into a bigger house and I want her to quit her job so she can stay home with my kid. So I took the job because the pay is so good! I used to be out for 2 weeks and home for two days, so the home time is a lot better even on the extra board if you are used to being OTR! When you get your route, you know what hours you will be working every week. I don't mind hard work, being OTR without any unloading just makes people fat! So I don't understand all the whining about MBM.
