I dont know why people think they can run across the freeway. It just doesnt make sense!

-
Amazing but watching cops people try it all the time
Maybe just like in new york people assume the cars will stop -
There was a man that died here about 2-3 weeks ago on Hwy 75 (Central Expressway) in North Texas...it was in Denison actually. He ran out of gas and decided to try and cross 2 lanes of traffic, but got hit by an eighteen wheeler. Very sad.

I have seen some stupid stuff while driving a truck, and I have seen people run across a 6 lane interstate as if they were running across a field....I would never try to beat a four wheeler and let alone an 18 wheeler....no way...I just can't imagine being THAT stupid.....oh well guess thats life!

Its sad this man lost his life. Now I am going to be a jerk.
1. Do you think they will do an autopsy? Why? We know how he died.
2. Is there going to be some idiot that tries to figure out cause of death? Trying to figure out which of the four cars actually killed him. I can see some investigator saying, "He was killed by the second car."
OR
"He died from a heart attack as a result from his contact with the first car."
3. Was he in one piece? If he was. REALLY!

Thinning the shallow end of the gene pool. In this guys case and many others like him posted at your link I don't even think it was a pool, more like a wading puddle.
