as of today im a current cdl license holder. I would have had them Tuesday but I failed on my 90* alley dock 4"inches outside of the box. yesterday I passed all of my skills test and went on a little drive with the state examiner. had some knuckle head pass me on a 2 lane highway in a no passing zone with oncoming traffic he managed to get around me, the oncoming traffic was less then 30' away!!! I was only going 2mph under the speed limit. I asked the tester if that jepordized my test she informed me that I wasn't driving that vehicle and she also wrote down that tag and description of that vehicle I assume they will receive their driving award this week sometime. now im currently looking into trucking companies
Yesterday I got my cdl's

Did many companies recruit from the school?
Do you have any endorsements, mainly tanker/hazmat?
There's so many companies in and around Atlanta to choose from.
The good money is in tanker or flatbed.
Watkins & Shepard has van & flatbed & I know a van terminal in Calhoun hauling carpet.
Check these & see if any interest you:
Howard Transportation
Melton Truck Lines
Maverick
CTL tanker division(a Comcar company)
Schneider tanker division
Prime flatbed division
TMC flatbed -
If you are in the Atlanta area these are the companies I know has a terminal close by that hires new drivers.
Roehl
usexpress
Smith
Millis
Prime
SNI
