Hello, I'm currently enrolled in CDL school and I'm really excited to start my new career. I have a lot to learn in a very short period of time so, any and all advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you for your time!

Best advice I can give is to get the tanker/hazmat endorsements plus TWIC & a passport. These make you more marketable for the better paying jobs. No reason to start your new career at poverty wages.

I most certainly want to get as many endorsements as I can. The more I learn, the more I earn. Right? I got some pre hire letters from roehl and usxpress and maverick has contacted me. I like mavericks wages but I think I'm gonna go with roehl. Comments? Suggestions? Usxpress was nice too. I'm certain driving the vehicle won't be an issue for me, it's ALL the other stuff that worries me. I have 3 kids under the age of 3 and I DON'T want to miss out on too much. On the other hand, I want to make some coin. Dilemmas

Also, I have no clue what a TWIC is. Lol. I'll ask my instructor.
