Mbm foodservice

Hey putter thanks for the post, really good info.... I recently applied and I currently deliver beer and yes it's a tough job but I like doing it..... Now that I have a 1 year of experience I'd like to get into food service, and make much more money. I just wanna find a good company to stay with and have a good future with right now that I'm young. Just wanna set myself up and do good work!!!!!

 

I'm divorced already so I have no issue working 60-70 hours a week if I'm gonna gross $70k+ a year. And I do go to the gym and lift properly. So I'm sure I can save money and workout at work instead haha

 

I've applied 3 times with MBM over the past 5 months..and nothing. Sometimes I think those stupid personality tests are the reason I don't get hired.

 

Jrut. Have you tried to get number of facility to call them and ask??? Or nothing?? Yeah those personality tests don't determine crap about us drivers lol

 

I have applied today along with a friend of mine ,driver as well , at all 4 terminals ...Fullerton ,Ontario ,Rancho and Riverside...will see what happens further on...

 

I might apply to the other terminals as well, I applied to Fullerton because its the closest one to me and I read that they use lift gate / pallet jacks. Ill go ahead and apply to ontario , riverside, rancho as well n see what happens. Do u guys have really think that personality test has anything to do with getting at least to the interview?? I mean at least in an interview they get to meet u and see what kind of candidate u are n such n such, but well see guys hopefully it comes thru....

 

Like I said in a previous post, I start orientation on the 5th, so I am no expert on the company. They however told me that after I put my time in on the xtra board and get my permanent route I will always know when I am leaving out. The money is great and the insurance is great, thats all I need to know!!

 

Can you tell me if steel toe shoes are required?

I my opinion I think there are too many applying for this jobs and they dont need drivers right now....eventhough they advertise each week on craigslist ...
I don't want to belive that assessment will influence in anyhow the employment...
