what kind of accident? any other moving violations on your mvr?
-
as bad as it sounds it was a rearend no injuries
-
Was this in a commercial vehicle or your personal vehicle? What if any violations are on your MVR?

-
Ticketed for Following too closely? That is pretty serious. It might be tough, but if you don't act like the "last guy" with accidents....(3 of them in 6 months, but they were minor and weren't really HIS fault) you might have to work for a less desirable company for a couple years.
-
At least in print just about any OTR company will take you as long as its less than 2 serious accidents in 3 years. good luck.
-
UMMMMMMM, How do I say this; No! Not entirely true my friend. There have been situations to where 1 accident in 5 years can get you disqualified! It depends on a lot of factors. Was it a CMV? Was a controlled substance involved? Was this person citied? How is this persons MVR? There are so many other criteria recruiters look at regarding accidents. Each case is evaluated differently.

CMV
no drug or any substance or contributing factors
nothing else on record
think of a brand new tile floor and your puppy just came in and forgot home training right in the middle of the floor
bout sums it up -
@t3Kn0fR3ak give USA Truck a call.
