Little recap in my last three weeks out
9810 loaded miles / 13 loads
718 dead head miles / 9X
10,528 paid miles = 3509 week (without a reset)
my big mistake prob was not waiting til after midnight in Laredo to be dispatched causing an extra 1758 mi load (at 4pm) to go on the week with 3200 already , Uncle Sam took $380 out of my $1945 check

Yeah, when I took home time in June, I boarded at 7:30 Saturday and kept getting load assignments and unassignments until they finally gave me one that picked up on Monday morning. By that time, I had no where to go stay, and no one to come pick me up. So I sat where I parked the truck 48 hours until it was time to pick the load up...

trailer had the green light 45 min ago ...no paper work ready?
So $12 ....waiting for more ...no pre-plan , told then get me to JAX if they can't get me home -
Only see that when a student is in the log too. Its some new rule, or old rule that they finally programmed in, where 2nd driver must be in sleeper or on duty. It covers teams and finishers. I had a violation every day for a week or so until I got used to it.
Still not sure I understand it, but, if my student is not driving, he is in sleeper, and if I am not driving, I am on duty, not driving.Wildblackyonder and paul_4lp Thank this.
