Glad to here you got your pooch back. At least you guys are stuck in a good place. I am surprised that there was not a picture of Bo with a fishing pole. I almost ran up to a 9 axle from Combined in Ontario at the T/A, but I remembered that you guys went to the other side of the country. Looks like I will be home for the weekend and than back to CA. Seems like I keep getting stuck with going there lately. Enjoy your time on the water for sure.

Well we have arrived in *ell and supposed to be 108 today to load...so past the hinges of *ell I would say!! I dont mind heat...but this is HOT!!
Anyway we will be 16ft 1in tall and 12.5 ft wide leaving here going to Seattle WA. Not too bad but they (dispatch) wants us there in 4 days...not happening no way, no how. God knows how many miles of TX we will have to get out of here. Oh and the thing weighs 100,000 and it is full of oil....wonderful AND it has to sit ON TOP of the rails as it wont fit down in the deck....yippy....center of gravity is gonna be WAY up there.Sleepy68 Thanks this. -
Be safe out on the roads. Iam head for frezno for monday
-
Y'all maybe four days to get out of Texas much less to get to Seattle. Laredo is a lower part of the body than the armpit, anyway. Have a safe trip.
-
Yep...it took 2 days out of TX and we got to North Bend Fri afternoon. They pushed us all the way across (they meaning dispatch) then we call the port and find out it is going on a BARGE to AK and the barge leaves several times a week!!!!!!!!!!! The people at the port never knew we were coming. It has been a VERY stressful trip and for no good reason.
I agree Laredo is a much lower body part than the armpit.... -
Not defending the company, but the people at the other end might need it real bad. Like they are using standby gens. with a down transformer. Waiting for the replacement. Just a thought
-
Yes that is something that could be...but they usually tell us that stuff. I think this was just broker pushing. We are on our way to Waukesha WI to pick up a transformer going to MA...yay me.....NOT!!
Bo is real good in the NE...I cant find my way around up there for some strange reason...never could. So I will be getting my NY cert while I am up there...and I guess we will be spending Labor Day in the NE....ick. -
Paul lded out of Mo. about 2 weeks ago and took a transformer up to Ma. Wonder if the same sub station.
I know he wasn't real happy about it either. -
I do believe his was over near Boston. Ours is in the NW corner of the state. I am not happy about this....at all BUT I do feel better about it being the opposite way of the city. But they are still routing us through Conn and up to MA then back to the West....I dont know WHY we cant just cut through NY and go the EASY way.
