Attempted Murder Charges for Trucker "Spy"

And he didn't get a day of jail time. Guess anybody can take a shot at us, no big deal.

 

That's our justice system bro.

Ok the trial for Joesph John Volpe is over, so I can speak freely.


I'm the driver he shot at on June 30, 2010 in Chattanooga, TN. He was found guilty on all 3 counts 2nd degree attempted murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, & reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon. He was taken into custody in the court room and sentencing is scheduled for June 17, 2013 now to set the record straight, he got angry with me because I would not get out from behind on I-24 west bound traveling through Chatt, TN on 6/30/2010 and we had a small altercation, at which point he pulled up on the right side of my truck and shot a 9mm through the back of my sleeper. Bullet came through the back of my seat about 3 inches from my left ear, stopping in the left door next to the vent window. ( He won't be watching you any more, thank God) We had gone to court a total of 12 times before the trial actually started.


Thanks for all the concern and support I've read about on the internet. To be honest I just found out about this site last week but plan on staying around. Thanks, Bruce Johnston.

Just out of curiosity, if you don't mind telling, what happened immediately after he shot at you?

 

Johnston is calling the build-up a “small altercation” while Volpe's lawyer says “Johnston used his truck to try running Volpe off the road.” If the latter is true Johnston is a homicidal maniac that shouldn’t be driving a truck for a living not to mention is he gonna beat somebody up or try killing them too for simply snapping a picture of him walking down a public street?
