I could not subject myself to a second greyhound trip lol. I would have to rent a car, or fly. Or if a person has an extra vehicle they want to leave at the main office they could do like I did. I have a car in the drivers parking lot, makes running errands especially easy when I'm at the yard.

I drove for them from 2/08-10/11, Never regretted driving for them, I left do to family illness, Treatment was awesome, and to me that goes a long way, As the lease goes, its as fair, payment and trucks about the same as everywhere else, Cascadia's and Pro-star's with cummins 400 ISX motors now adays, I heard they cut them down to 65, but don't know for sure, they where 72 when I was there

they have cut the new contractors down to 68. Prostars are being phased out for more fuel efficient KWs and cascadias. I have been here since 07and I still feel right at home though some of the changes over the years have taken some getting used too.

Never understood the need to exceed 70mph as an O/O, L/O. Just throw cash out on the freeway if you want to lose money.

Teams are averaging between 5800 and 6300 miles. We are entirely owner operator, you set your home time. We are asked to stay out 3 weeks minimum but in reality we are captains of our own ship. I personally stay out 2-4 weeks. But in honesty if I only stay out 2 weeks it is normally because I happened onto a load that empties out near the house around the 2 week mark. As for how long you take off, within reason that is also up to you. However if you are not being profitable or are constantly taking advances then your driver manager may try and offer some advice in that area.

    Cbake84 Thanks this.
