I wonder if there is a finders fee with finding a lost truck/ trailer?? I found a trailer and called the company in SLC and reported it. Guy was nice about it. Says the trucker just left the trailer somewhere. After I told him the location and our #### chat I asked about a finders fee. He chuckled and said no. Umm maybe next time I will ask it first.

US Marshalls don't get involved in small issues like this. You know as well as I do that many companies flaunt the laws. Most of the time drivers waste more time and money than its worth to go up against the companies. -
Well, the DAC. System will let you know. Did you leave it at a truck stop. The company can list it as abandoned. Not good on the drivers record.
Question to you. How did you come to be in your truck? Did you get picked up? Or did you travel to get it? My suggestion always to a driver. Spend the time to get it to their yard or terminal. Hand keys off to a manager. -

"ZZZZIIIINNNNGGGGG!!!!"
That was the sound of sarcasm whizzing past your head.Lonesome Thanks this. -
Ya. I've talked with a lot of safety managers over the years. Most say 10% of their trailers are missing. I bet its more.

Since its a "big box". Trucking company.
Gordon trucking was purchased 100% by heartland express. One more trucking outfit swallowed up. -
Hey buddy ALL COMPANIES say they treat you like family to get you in so they can steal your time and work. It's the corporate way, it's like when they freeze crap from the other side of the world then label it FRESH. It's called deception and all "good" managers practice it so they can' exploit suckers like me who can't get minimum wage while they drive BMW's and live in big mentions. They need to trick people to pay for it all it's the new American way!
