If you can use a microwave you're good to go. good luck
-
I know how to use them. I just cant say I got experience pulling one.... yet lol
-
I only pulled one reefer, only difference is that you are supposed to stop every 3 hours and check the unit and do a mac 16? I think it was
-
The whole grand plan I plan on pulling reefer down the road and reefer you kinda got both worlds. If you are running a reefer load to a area and there is no reefer freight leaving. you now have a dry van. It opens up more possibilities
ev1xx10n Thanks this. -
With a reefer youll be sitting longer at the receivers dock waiting to be unloaded. Oh, and the noise and vibration from the reefer unit can sometimes drive you crazy. More points on your Pilot-J card filling the reefer tank. I dont know about dry van but some of the places I had to deliver to were never made for a 53 van with a sleeper cab truck. Have Fun.
-
unless that reefer is a live unload and then your stuck for now
-
the noise didnt bother me, I slept right through it even with my windows all open
once im asleep I sleep through just about anything except movement, my someone shakes my truck then I will be up with my sharp brake stick seeing whats going on in seconds lolev1xx10n Thanks this. -
& then the shipper refuses to load you because the reefer limits how much weight that can be loaded in trailer. Not to mention TRL washouts.... I started w/ reefer, and I wouldnt go back. picking up a bad reefer trl at a meet house after sitting for a day is a PITA
-
your in trouble then. A reefer on start/stop will shake your truck like someone climbing up on the cat walk at start up.
