Wow okay. Started out with my delivery Mon morning in KC, MO. They opened at 0730 so I moseyed out there and was in their dock Sun night. Finished unloading at 0900 and then went to the J for a shower since they had to search for a load. Broker load came through at 1100 to pick up in Olathe, KS at 1430. Yay a broker load. Got there a little before noon hoping the time was wrong. Nope, they said 1430 was correct. Got in the door about that time but they didn't start loading until 1900. By the time they finished loading I had hour and a half to finish a 10. Took off lickety split. Made it to the J in Cattlesburg, KY for a 10. Couldn't sleep that well due to stress and a message came through to take my load to Wytheville yard and take an empty to Sabra. Then was told "we'll take it from there". Was working the numbers game in my head the whole time. Had 2 min on my clock when I got to the J. Rolled the minute my 10 was up. Got to Wytheville at 0015 and took a 30 while swapping trailers. Got to Sabra at 0450. Called in and Bo told me to bobtail to the yard. Got there and found an empty to turn and burn with. Got home with 30 min left on the clock. They changed her surgery times a couple of times, which worked out in our favor. Got to the hospital and they had to move it around again. Complications with the patient before her. She's been in for a hour now and I am dog tired. Nothing like making a plan come together.

Hope everything goes well with your wife's surgery and glad the schedule worked out in your favor.

I'm done training and doing refreshers. They push you to run like a team, I didn't sign up for that, so I'm going back to being solo. Probably going to have to give up my Volvo for a new Mack, but it's all good. Be safe!

Glad u made it home in time to be with your wife Uturn.

Why would you have to give up your Volvo? The Volvo is the reason alot of drivers go to the green machine. There's still a lot of solo with the 780.

This a newer "team" truck. I was in a Mack when I first started here, besides the lack of storage, I liked the truck.YardDart Thanks this.
