1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Chesapeake (Oilfield, or Hawg Hauling if you're local or been around a little) doesn't pay as high as some of the other companies but I hear they have excellent benefits. Several of my former coworkers went over to them in the past year or so.

This job wasn't too bad when my husband started with them but with the management there now it has become the worst job ever. Absolutely NO family life schedule is five days on one day off and many of the days are 14 plus hours a day. They play favorites, the manager there literally told a truck driver "you are just a dumb truck driver". They have no consideration for anyone but themselves and the dispatchers can do no wrong even if it was blatenly obvious it was their fault. There was one that would stick up for the drivers but they got rid of them. They are also the lowest paid in the industry... on a positve not Chesapeak did just push down the vacation for them that is a very good benefit but the president of Oilfield is currently protesting that too. Don't go there you will end up hating it.
