Midwest to The East and back pretty much never paid that well... I mean it's easy as hell compared to running the Northeast all week. It's just the rate going back West that sucks, going East is 3x the rate going West. I made more money running in the Triangle of Chicago, Nebraska & Back up towards Minnesota for a couple of weeks then I did running back and forth between Iowa & Virginia.

You wanna make coin? Just ask to run a few Plympton's from Front Royal for a week.. You'll bank account will appreciate on Friday.

Hope all is well with you guys, #### sure miss 818, #### sure miss to runs to Plympton and Albany too. This O/O deal isn't as great as I thought it would, still trying to give it some time to grow. But If i could get a good truck out the deal next year, I'll come back to VW in a heartbeat, but again it won't be until next year sometime, gotta get these payments down in order to make a profit to sell the truck. Anyhow you guys be safe..

Yep, I did a couple of weeks of solid rdc northeast, but was still lucky to break over a grand, I passed the 1 year mark hoping there would be a possibility of a % increase, and called about it, even to the top, and was told there are no increases. Was basically given the standard "what were you told in orientation?" Which I finally got disgusted and told them how little I was told. Just a weird "driver is not supposed to know too much" vibe there...smh.

Anyways, finally got out of jessup, looks like the shipper on those loads is gettin stingy on detention pay, grabbed a run up to Albany, get half way through pa (heads up... I came through Harrisburg about 8:30 in the evening and DOT was really going at it)and the check engine light on this junker comes on going up a steep hill.. No de-rate, but running a little rougher when running at 65, but I couldn't tell if that was the road surface. No code except for "check operators manual" so it's gotta the emissions crap like last time. I'm hoping its not going to result in having to take another filthy "loaner" truck out.... If its impregnated with cigarette smoke and filthy like the last one, I'm refusing it. That last one had me almost ready to puke whenever I was in it for a long driving or sleeping period! That and I gotta get through waynesboro to get this vacation set up....if they mess that up, hopefully I can keep josh from screwing that up like he does everytime I've had to get home for a doc's appointment lol.

From reading the first 20 and last 20 pages it appears that the company has slid down hill, IE non-forced forced "favor" disatch and dispatch stupidity...

Each experience is different I guess BRShirk, from my perspective things are pretty much the same. My only headaches have been mechanical issues with my last truck and this thing is shaping up to be the same way. Been here 7 years and no real problems to speak of. I was taking it there was a new RDC run to Maine now.
