The speeding ticket was in April 2011 and I think for about ten or a bit more over the limit. It was basically a speed trap at the bottom of a long hill, not that it makes a difference.
The accident ticket was in December 2012. I wandered over the line in a curve because I was looking behind me to see if I'd missed a turn and side swiped a dump truck. The ticket was for 'Driving in wrong lane'.
I guess I'll have to wait six months to go to school. Damnnit.
Worried about # of points on my NC car license before I go to trucking school.

was it a speeding ticket or "failure to obay a traffic control device". Sometimes speed traps are not speeding tickets

Speeding ticket. A cop pulled me over.

You can still complete the course, get your CDL then wait to hire on with someone after your MVR clears up... the only explanation you'll need is why you waited 6 months or so to look for a job... most M/C will run your MVR for 5-10 years, so there won't be any surprises, but they will, generally, only hold the last 3 years against you... hope that's clear as mud... some smaller companies may consider you, but, regrettably, it all boils down to their insurance company taking a chance on you...

That would be a waste of money. The OP would need a refresher after waiting that long.

You will get hired by someone. You shouldn't worry too much about it but scares the hell out of me.
