Because I've been in LTL almost my entire career and know what companies pay. What companies start out at and what the OP wants are on 2 different planets.

So wrong. My first and current trucking company pays me over $1100 per week, ranging from the lowest $850 (hometime) to the highest being $1800 per week. I like how you stated your comment as fact as if you know the pay rate for every truck company in existence.

Chase05, rockee and Logan76 Thank this.

We are talking about STARTING PAY, not current pay. We are also talking about LTL, not OTR.

Find me an LTL/line-haul company that starts off casual workers at over $1,000 a week with benefits and Ill gladly put my foot in my mouth.

Also, to point out one more fact: 'better health care' benefits no longer exist, thanks to the ACA. Only government workers are exempt from the ACA, so if you want better health care work for the government.

    To the OP:

Youre going to have to lower your standards a bit. You've stated you have been at one employer over 10 years, but you should know that your seniority does not carry over from one employer to another. If you're capped out, you're better off staying where you are.
