New OTR Wife, how is the hubby today? Did everything get straightened out on the swap? Been thinking about you, hoping that all is well.

I was amazed to hear from my DM that he "would look into" break down pay for me. Was in a motel for two days because my truck lost all air pressure going up I 81 inn VA. Got off the road safely, towed into Roanoke for repairs to the busted air line and also a bad exhaust pipe, both under the cab. If layover pay is denied (I can't think of any justifiable reason), higher-ups WILL hear about it.

transam requires you to have your physical done before you show up
all they do is a drug screen
all background checks are done before you get a bus ticketBadboy4lyfe69 Thanks this. -
I think that is the standard reply on any type of "extra" pay, I don't think there will be a problem. Did you request it via the phone or satellite system? Follow up on it if you aren't notified within a reasonable time.
Do any of you have a carbon monoxide detector in the truck? Starting to believe it might be a good idea. -

Been driving around here all day trying to find school sufpplies.....ugh... Hubby has been off for most of the day.. Drove 242 miles today, dropped trailer and gates open at 7, scheduled pick up is 10, so he will be there at 7, and hope his is ready... He has had a chance to mellow out and calm down... -
Does anyone know why hubby is being sent on 377 near Ft. Worth instead of on I35W? Is there something wrong with I35W in that area? They have him leaving shipper, going south on I35W to 170 to 377 to get to I35 17 miles later...
Just curious... -
It can be a lot some days, but a BLESSING most days...

I got $900 back after a 6 month lease.
