I think somebody should drive a company truck first. You can always lease later.

Hey are you still with ACT? I have a few questions? Do you get home time or are you out two / three weeks or more at a time? Can you get weekends homes, I live in michigan can you or are you allowed to take equipment home with you? Are they electronic? I'm thinking they are not if your running over 3K a week.
    Thanks

    .

BK is no longer with ACT. As for the rest of your questions, you need to say whether you are interested in company or L/O.

DTB is correct I am no longer there. I was not on electronic logs but anybody starting there now will be on elogs. The rest of your questions really depends on if you are lease or company. If you lease you would not succeed going home every weekend to Michigan.

In addition, if you are choosing to lease, I highly recommend your weekend fall Tues/Wed. The vast majority of hubby's long legged runs fall on the weekend. Not saying he doesn't get legs on Tuesday, but it's more likely to get a long run on Friday or Saturday w/ a Monday drop. Michigan isn't in ACT's general running lanes, but, we go to Lockbourne, OH fairly frequently. Part of the reason we chose ACT is that we happen to live right off the lanes in OK. So while we may not get "hometime" every two weeks, we usually get him homeward every 10 days or so. As a result, we choose to have 4 or so days of hometime every 3 - 4 weeks. Sometimes life gunks up the works, but we work around it. (She says as hubs is in Joplin waiting to deliver the load that brings him home for his father's funeral.)
