I just applied to Pitt-Ohio here in NJ for class B driver. I have a class A but have much more experience with Class B trucks. Anyway what is the inside scoop on Pitt-Ohio in general? Do you know if class B driver deliver out of state? I REALLY want to avoid ANY deliveries to NYC/Manhattan or any of the 5 boroughs. The pay here is good to start I think, it also says 100% paid company health ins. I work for the state of NJ right now but would prefer to work in the private sector. Nothing at all bad to say about Government work or workers, just a preference of mine to work in the private sector. Thanks for any info you may have.

I dont know about pitt ohio, but where i work they send the straight trucks to places you wouldnt want to go into pulling a trailer, such as tight residential areas, narrow mountain roads, small office parks, downtown areas etc. i usually end up taking a tractor and trailer through these places anyway though haha.

Thanks for the help. It sounds as though there may or may not be NYC deliveries. I guess I'll ask if they call me.
