Companies that have mandatory or voluntary Per Diem?

    people don't realize, that the IRS allows us to take the $59.00 per day , when we file for taxes.

    Did you bother to read the original post? Just wondering since this is already known. Do you possibly have any answers to the original question, or just flexing your knowledge muscle?

    All the driver has to do is ask the company if they shift some of his wage into per diem and how they figure that. Cpm, or a %. Then he can ask if he wants to have them opt him in, or he can opt out. There is know law that said a company can force company per diem on you

    decker has a forced per diem; last I remember is 7 or 8 cpm
