Every company has good and every company has bad. I'm going back to them in the next couple of weeks myself. I drove for them years ago and also worked in their maintenance shop in Ocala.
Not every company is the right fit for every driver. For every driver that speaks highly of a company, there will be one, or more, that will have nothing but bad to say about the same company.
I'm not saying this to be rude, but it's kinda late to wait until now to start researching and asking questions about the company you committed yourself to. This is something that you should do well in advance to making a commitment to a carrier.
I can say that personally, Swift always treated me good both as a driver and as mechanic. The only reason I left was due to relocating and I was offered a local driving job so I took it. I'm actually looking forward to getting back on the road with them.
My best advice to you is to go in with an open mind and take things as they come. According to your profile you have 4 years of driving experience, so you know what this industry is all about, or at least have a pretty good idea.
Good luck and stay safe!!!! ;)

After you've passed probation, tell them you want a dedicated account. The routes are more stable, you work for the same customer. Usually, it pays salary, not mileage.

After 3 months running solo you will start getting "Fleet Messages" on the Qualcomm notifying drivers of job opportunities as they come up. These messages are sent to qualifying drivers as a general class.

For each offer it is up to you to do further research. Every dedicated account has a little different "flavor", expected miles, pay scale, etc. Know as much as you can before committing to a dedicated position. Some accounts have additional requirements, like having a certain CSA score or better, years of experience, etc.
