Has anyone else seen this? But I have been seeing alot, and I mean alot, of driving positions open with Ryder. Class A OTR, short haul and local. And also Class B OTR, short haul, local. Does anyone have any information on what type of freight they haul? Where all they deliver too, etc. Or is it just shuttling the rental trucks/trailers to the places that need them? ANy info would be appreciated. Thank You.

I'm an O/O and leased on with them out of Groveport,OH and it was for the Xerox account. It sucked. Double decked trailers that you broke down FOR FREE and multiple stop loads with no stop pay. A written, notarized lease agreement with stated pay for those services was all a scam with 2 sentences they hid in between the legal paragraphs; even OOIDA missed it when I filed a complaint -
Well that doesnt sound good at all. Sorry you had such a bad experience with them. I would not have thought that a company like them would do something like that. But thank you for the information.

After "venting" all the company guys really enjoyed working with them. They claimed the pay was good and benefits were top notch. However, as an O/O, I'd rather lease on to Werner or CR England...........

Well thats understandable. Just wondering if they are a LTL or more of a OTR type deal? I see more postings as a "local" driver than I do OTR.

I know ryder has a few automotive contracts as well.

Ryder will do many things, LTL, TL, Expedite; whatever the customer wants or needs
