I don't see the problem, I would have shook hands, said thank you, and parted ways. Which sounds like what you did. They should have no problem finding someone to drive into Canada. you shouldn't feel forced to go somewhere you don't want to go IMO, especially when there are many other drivers that will go willingly , and that's just fine. Sounds like you where very clear up front before you got hired on, and even after you got hired on, that you had no desire to travel to Canada, yet they hired you anyway.Not a good business practice. Not conducive to happy employees, and a great waste of everyone's time and money.

Hey if Melton was stone face asking hou to go to canada it 2as yoir duty to get your passport ready and hit I-35 northbound stright out laredo. Lol, just kidding forget about going to canada the place smells like a maze of near to death mountain sides and moose calls during winter season but seriously if that were me and being belittled to protect their god (small 'g') given right to ripp you off a weeks worth of waiting in canadian land HEY, more power to you. Glad to hear from a personal experience as I also fafhomed if in fact these ppl were witbin reason and could offer the job satisfaction of doing things roght by law and not through lectures from a parish.
