Ok, I don't understand one thing; about how Swift does it's pay. Or anything else for that matter. My husbend has been workng for them for a while now and all of the sudden this month rolls in and we are now on week 2 with no pay. I don't know what there doing but it's bull####.
He checked his pay stub and the run he had before coming home(He had one after this, I'll explain in a min.)Was ok, but the run that he was on that brought him close to home was not. And we're looking at no pay agian this week.
My husbend is an outstanding driver. Great person, very consiterite. He started trucking to try to make a better life for us and our family. But know he's woundering what it's all for. He's out there killing him self OTR and doen't have anything to show for it.
It's taking all of me to not tell him to not quit. It just doesn't make any sense.
The problem is is that he doesn't know where ealse he can go.

Read this site - you'll find all about how awful Swift is. If your husband has a year or two OTR experience now and a perfectly clean driving AND criminal record, he should be able to go to any company he wants to.

Did you or your husband call pay role, and ask them why no pay for 2 weeks.
and if you or he did. What was the reasoning why your husband received no pay. Did he call his Dm and ask WTF about my pay 2 weeks no money. I have had swift messed up on my pay. but gave a quick call ask WTF well nicely say WTF, and clear up the misunderstand or there ##&*&k up. -
Driving OTR witih swift, all pay revolves around the trip pack.. So depending on where he drops it it could cause delays. Another reason I am glad I run dedicated. A call to his DM would probably get him some answers...

swift actually pays you goofballs ????

yeah I know hard to believe a company that actually pays... I mean wow how do they do it with over 22,000 drivers.... There are bound to be some mistakes, heck even when I worked for the state they made mistakes as well.... But I have never had any pay issues that weren't resolved by a phone call...

Do a Google search on "Diary of a Swift Driver". It was written a few years ago, by a guy named Dennis. Gives a lot of insight to Swift and it's workings.

Has that reads he's only pulling one run a week? If so thats probllem number one right there unless he's on a round trip detacated. If not then... well... yea..
Next I would make sure that the trip pac's aren't sitting forgotten in some obscure cubby in the truck. Has this will without a doubt cause a delay in pay with any company.
