MPG Results: 12.5 empty and 10.6 loaded. Truck and tanker height are the same now. I also have wide singles on the tanker. I think most of it is from low rolling resistance from the tanker. I'm doing 50 mph in the Midwest. Laters

Do you get to keep the same tanker?
You say that you want to get 3 trucks I did not know that you could lease a truck and have a driver in it.
If you get the trucks and get drivers how does it work to let them train? Do you get so much extra for the training part of it?Lalito1234 Thanks this. -
Just curious, how often do you get west of the Mississippi? I signed up for tanker training and live about 30 miles south of stlouis and was wondering how well that would work for me getting home once every month or so.

No, the tanker changes a lot.
You have to do an ACE Lease with Success and Prime will put a driver in it. They are Prime company drivers. The ACE Lease is a lease purchase where you put $13000 down and can buy the truck for $100 at the end of the lease. If they train the truck makes more money and the more money the truck makes the more I will make. That's why I want them in Refer Division because they will get the most work there.popcorn169 Thanks this. -
I've been that way twice since I've been on my own. You won't go there much but it will be easy to get you home. I needed to go to Springfield, MO to get my APU fixed and it only took them about 4 days to route me through. You'll get home when you want to go but don't expect to be passing by all the time. I live in Florida and haven't got one load going through the south and we have a tank wash in Savannah, GA. I know there are tons of loads down there because I did them in training. That reminds me, I need to put in for home time. I haven't been to my apartment in almost half a year.jk72180 Thanks this.

Fuel Update: 9.1 mpg after climbing into New Jersey. I'm thinking about buying this truck now. I'll decide by the spring. Taking this lightweight is probably the best business decision I have made so far.
popcorn169 and Jrdude5 Thank this. -
I've been deadheaded from kc or decatur il for home time in stl. There's a tank wash in east St. Louis where you can drop your tank and bobtail home. There's only 1 customer that I know of in stl and I've yet to go there.GunMetal345 and jk72180 Thank this.

That's good to know really looking forward to getting started. Leave out for Springfield on Monday.

if you have a 2014 cascadia lw, the turbo guage is built into the info lcd display. It has to be configured by you though, in the 'parked menu' section
GunMetal345 and 123456 Thank this. -
Update:
Even with all the work I had done in SpringMo I still made $50 this week. Only had 2 trips so I count that as a win. I feel I'm the busiest driver in my division and I hope it stays that way. I had to drive fast this week but I'm getting 8.6 mpg at 58 mph. This trucks only weakness are upgrades.
